Escalators & Pies

Saturday, Telene and I went on an escapade to the plaza. We had a lovely time wandering in shoppes such as Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Williams-Sonoma and others.

At Barnes & Noble, we went looking at fiction and music how-to books as well as anything that might catch our eye. throughout this browsing we went up and down the escalators several times. For some reason or another we always seemed to walk to the escalator that was going in the opposite direction than we wanted so we had to do a lot of backtracking. I remarked that they should put signs up to help directionally challenged people like us. And then.....what do you know.....

After dropping Telene back home I felt an urge to bake. (cooking stores do that to one.) I had acquired a pie form at Williams-Sonoma - for individual, pocket pies.

So, donning a head band

and Perry Mason in the background,

I began.

(I would have preferred real apples, but one must make do.)

Et Voila!

So cute, Tess! I've never seen pocket pie molds you can use yourself! Are you a big pie baker/maker?
